I had a messy issue where a corrected judgment was issued in Dec 2008. How can I find out if it will be (or can it be) taken from my taxes. This was a person to person civil suit. Not a company. I am in the process of a wage garnishment. They recieved the judgement against me back in 2006. I have since then, gathered all documents taht the money is not owed (statements of account) as well as filed a objection to the writ because of it not being properly served as well as my belief the debt was previously paid.
