Hey guys! silly question! Let’s say i have a tax check coming 2 my sister address, can she cash it without me!

Can my sister cash my check without my me being there? what if i have a power of attorney in her name ?

    A check made out to you, regardless where it’s mailed to, can be cashed by you only.

    Unless you endorse it over to someone else, they would be committing a crime by cashing your check.

    If you have given her POA, then yes, as your agent she could collect your check and cash it without you being there. Has to be notarized. Depends on terms of POA you signed.
